Family Therapy

My work with families is structured, collaborative, and transparent. While supporting all members, I play close attention to hierarchy, boundaries, and roles, which are key elements of healthy family functioning. Perhaps some patterns are passed down accross generations which we will take time to explore.

My goal is to help you move forward with intention rather than remaining stuck in cycles that no longer work. In my process, I generally begin by having individual sessions with each member of the system.

Possible configurations:

  • Traditional family therapy with 2 parents present, or single parent and the young child/children

  • Supplemental to my solo individual work with a client (could be bringing in a sibling, parent, or partner, which is usually for a predetermined amount of sessions)

  • Sibling therapy

  • Older established children with parents (looking to heal past issues, or make future planning decisions)

  • Blended or nontraditional family setups
