Therapy for Kids and Teens

I believe children thrive when they feel seen, safe, and understood- and when adults around them feel empowered rather than blamed. I have experience working with kids from ages 4 to young adulthood. In my work, I follow the child’s lead while maintaining an active partnership with parents. I am transparent about observations, honest about challenges, and intentional about setting clear goals.

I see all children in person, unless there is a teenager who is comfortable with zoom, although I highly suggest meeting face to face. My office is stocked with games, toys, and art supplies. Although not mandatory in any way, I find that it can often be helpful to invite parents in for a session. When this happens, it is generally after time has elapsed in our work together and myself and the child have a friendly and trusting therapeutic relationship.
